HORSE AGREEMENT & LIABILITY RELEASE

 

FEES/PAYMENT

*Horse Training --$625 per month       or    $550 per month 
          Includes hay and grain                       if you bring your own hay and grain


*Half of the payment is due in advance. When you horse is dropped off you will pay half of the fee for that month. The other half will be paid when the horse is picked up. No horse will leave without payment being paid in full. If a horse is here a month and you decide you want to keep it here another month, the rest of the first month will need to be paid, along with the first half of the second month, when we start on the second month. And so on…

*Medications which your horse may receive in one month will need to be paid at the end of the month with the fee. Shoeing expenses will need to be paid up front. But it is best to have your horse already shoed if possible when it arrives. We require at least front shoes.

*If your horse gets sore or injured while in training and has to layup for a more than a couple days a $4 a day board will be charged until horse is able to go back into training.

HORSE CARE/ SAFETY

* De-worming -- all horses are required to be on a de-worming schedule. We de-worm every 8 to 10 weeks.

*Vaccinations -- we require that your horses be up to date on its vaccinations. Including flu/rhino, tetanus, west nile and strangles.

* Coggins -- all horses dropped off for training must have a current coggins, which means within a year of date on coggins papers. We require to have a copy of your papers to keep while your horse is in training.

*Veterinary care -- should your horse become sick or injured and its determined that measures need to be taken immediately for the horse’s safety or well being, you authorize the request for the service of a vet to give any attention that is deemed necessary. You, agree to be responsible for any vet expenses. Any vet expenses incurred, while you horse is in training will be billed directly to you .

*Blankets/Fly Sheet/Mask -- if you wish for your horse to be blanketed or wear any fly sheet or mask, you must bring your own when you drop off your horse.

* Any special feeds or supplements will need to be supplied by owner.

* As all reasonable care and safety precautions will be taken while your horse is in training with us at the Diamond Bar E  facility, neither Christy Enos nor anyone at Diamond Bar E will be held responsible for injury, illness or loss of horse by death.

* Any person associated with Diamond Bar E will not be responsible for any injury to a person that may occur while riding at our facility or under guidance of Christy Enos.

* No one at Diamond Bar E is responsible for damage, injury or theft to the owner’s horse or equipment. The owner if so choosing should carry his/her own personal property/equine insurance policy.
